Our Process

Our treatment process consists of placing southern yellow pine lumber in airtight cylinders, which are then flooded with pressurized water and chemical concentrate. After the treatment cycle is done, the lumber is then removed from the cylinder and stored on a contained drip pad until the product is completely dry. Once dry, our products are ready for shipment to our customers.

SupaTimber® CCA

SupaTimber® CCA Pressure-treated wood is protected from decay and termite attack with Chromated Copper Arsenate (CCA) and is suitable for certain commercial and industrial applications such as areas in which wood will be in contact with water, soil, concrete or masonry, subject to periodic wetting or exposed to moisture or high humidity.

CCA treated wood has been treated with an EPA registered pesticide containing inorganic arsenic to protect the wood from insect attack and decay.

Inorganic arsenic penetrates deeply into and remains in the Pressure treated wood for a long period of time. Some chemicals may migrate from treated wood into the surrounding soil over time and may also be dislodged from the wood surface upon contact with skin. Precautions should be taken when handling lumber that has been treated with CCA.
